Every layer tuned for low latency

From game priority to privacy — everything that sets Clutch apart.

Gaming Optimization

Every packet, your game first

Clutch recognizes game traffic and automatically lifts it to top priority (DSCP EF/CS6). Your shots stay on time even while a download runs.

  • Automatic DSCP marking — no manual rules needed
  • Live ping indicator to your game server
  • Game mode: one tap for priority + SQM together
Bufferbloat

Low ping under load — proven

Most lines look fast when idle. The real test is your ping while downloads and uploads fill the pipe. Clutch measures it and targets A+.

  • Under-load latency measurement (Waveform-style grade: A+ → F)
  • Before/after comparison — see the difference yourself
  • The screen that proves your edge over rivals
SQM Auto-Tune

Smart queue, one switch

Smart queue management with cake qdisc is configured automatically. It runs at the optimal percentage of your measured speed; latency stays low under load.

  • cake qdisc — modern, low-latency queueing
  • Measurement-based auto-tune
  • Engages in one switch together with fast DNS
Fast DNS

Encrypted and fast resolution

With DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), domains resolve fast and encrypted. Less waiting, and encrypted queries no one else can see.

  • DoH — encrypted DNS queries
  • Fast resolvers, low latency
  • Pick any resolver you want, no lock-in
WireGuard Tunnel

Tunnel only your game, nothing else

Clutch doesn't sell you a VPN. If you want, you install WireGuard yourself with opkg and use split-tunnel to send only game traffic through your own server/tunnel. Browsing, downloads, streaming — all keep flowing over your normal line.

  • Split-tunnel: only game traffic in the tunnel, the rest on your normal line
  • You install WireGuard yourself via opkg — no lock-in, no forced VPN
  • Keys and the tunnel live on your device; Clutch never sees your content
Freedom

Install any package you want

Thanks to its OpenWRT base, you can freely install thousands of packages with opkg. No locked firmware, no restrictions — the router is yours.

  • Full package access via opkg
  • Open-source OpenWRT base
  • Default firewall: free (you set the limits)
